The decoration at The Old Stables was simply delightful, dear. From the quaint country-style furniture to the charming floral prints on the walls, it truly felt like a cozy and inviting home away from home. The general areas were kept immaculately clean, and I thoroughly enjoyed sipping my cup of tea in the lovely open plan family room. As a senior woman, I greatly appreciated the accessibility of the property. There were no steep stairs or narrow hallways to navigate, making it easy for me to move around without any trouble.
For a better vacation for senior people, it would be ideal if the children working there could provide a few more handrails throughout the property. A little extra support would have been helpful, especially in the bathroom and near the balcony area.

Had a blast at this 4-star cottage! Loved the garden and the amazing underfloor heating. Also, the free WiFi was a bonus.
Oh, and who needs functional sockets or properly fitting balcony doors anyway? Adds character, I guess.

We had a fantastic few days at this beachside accommodation. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the sandy shores. The open-plan family room was lovely, with underfloor heating that added a cozy touch. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, providing a great place to relax after a day at the beach. Additionally, the service was excellent, ensuring that our stay was enjoyable.
The only downside was that a few of the electrical sockets could benefit from being upgraded to include USB ports for convenient phone and camera charging.

I absolutely loved the cozy and welcoming atmosphere at The Old Stables. The decoration had a charming rustic touch that made me feel right at home. The open plan family room was perfect for spending quality time with my loved ones. As a senior woman, I also appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The garden was beautifully maintained, and there were no stairs or obstacles that could hinder my movements. It made my stay comfortable and worry-free.
If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation experience for seniors, it would be the availability of more electrical sockets with USB ports. It would have been convenient for charging my phone and camera without needing extra adapters.

The location of the property was excellent, with easy access to key attractions in the area. The open plan family room was spacious and had a lovely ambiance. One of the best aspects was the underfloor heating, which provided a cozy and comfortable atmosphere during our stay.
We found it inconvenient that a couple of the electrical sockets did not have USB ports, making it difficult to charge our phones and cameras. the balcony door did not fit properly at the bottom, causing a draft which could be an issue in colder weather.
